Global Bronze Productions
Elevating Handbell Artistry to New Heights

Passion. Dedication. Teamwork.

Every Ringer Counts

Building upon the classical tradition of tower bell ringing, Global Bronze Productions provides handbell ensembles with unique performance opportunities in renowned venues around the globe.  We seek to create a community of dedicated performers to share their passions and talents under some of the most accomplished clinicians in the industry. Working with a wide array of handbell literature, we invite our audiences to partake in a one-of-a-kind musical experience while expanding their knowledge of this ever-growing genre.

Residencies with GBP utilize non-table ringing techniques to expand the diversity of our programming - our ensembles are many different sizes, with no limitation to the number of ringers we can include.  From the fast-paced atmosphere of New York City to breathtaking settings throughout Europe and Asia, GBP residencies offer the chance to travel to exciting destinations while sharing in the artistry of handbell musicianship.  When we’re not organizing exciting and worry-free tours for the handbell community or creating opportunities for composers old and new to show their stuff, Global Bronze Production emphasizes education and introducing audiences to this new and unexplored generation of performers.

Our Mission

Global Bronze Productions is a concert production company dedicated to organizing sensational performances of handbell music for audiences and renowned venues across the globe. We strive to bring together respected artists from around the world in an exciting and expanding community that celebrates a huge variety of handbell literature.

The global bronze difference:

The Global Bronze Difference lies in our exclusive dedication to the handbell community: when tours need organizing, guest ringers need finding, or new arrangements need debuting, you and your group are our first and only priority. Always with a deep commitment to exquisite musicianship, education and inclusivity, and teamwork and community, we provide unforgettable performance opportunities with some of the best clinicians in the genre and create new experiences that will be sure to inspire tomorrow’s ringers. Through our innovative programming, we aim to educate audiences about handbell literature and demonstrate that there’s so much more to handbell music than Christmas tunes.

At Global Bronze Productions, we utilize non-table ringing to expand the diversity of our programming. We regularly commission new works from esteemed and innovative composers and organize special concert events to premiere these unique pieces of music. A big part of our pledge to elevate handbell artistry is raising genre awareness, and sharing this specially commissioned music with the world is a dynamic step towards that goal. By combining a traditional musical style and longstanding performance groups with exciting new composers and arrangements, concert events by Global Bronze Productions take the world of handbell music into a new era!

Julia Falkenburg

Founder and General Director
Julia Falkenburg, Soprano, is a New York City-based singer, performer, and entrepreneur. She has performed throughout the United States and Europe, at distinguished venues such as the Isaac Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonietta, the Arena di Verona, Piazza San Lorenzo, and the Palazzo dei Priori in Viterbo. A native of Stamford, Connecticut, she is also a cantorial soloist at Temple Sinai of Stamford.

Julia was introduced to the Handbell community in early 2018 through Neesa Hart, herself an avid ringer and member of the Handbell Musicians of America, and immediately fell in love with the genre. She was both shocked and perplexed to discover the lack of organizational and community resources easily available to handbell artists, so with her extensive experience in large-scale concert production and business development, she decided to start the world’s first and only handbell-specific production company, Global Bronze Productions. Julia holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and will be pursuing her Masters in Business Administration at Baruch College (CUNY) in 2020.

She will also be covering the role of Hansel in Hansel and Gretel with Madison Lyric Stage in Connecticut in Fall 2019.

Lindsay graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Music from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford. In addition to her extensive background in opera and musical theater, she continues to perform as a concert soloist and church cantor throughout Connecticut. She could not be more excited to use her diverse background to help create unforgettable performance experiences for the handbell community worldwide.
